The Ponsonby and Massie Podcast
In which I attempt to answer a good question: does the world need another podcast?
I have some news: I am very pleased to announce that I am now co-hosting a podcast! I’ve teamed up with Bernard Ponsonby to present a new podcast looking at politics in Scotland and politics viewed from Scotland.
Bernard recently retired from STV where over 30 years he earned a justified reputation as the finest political editor of his generation working in Scotland. We’d planned to launch the podcast later in the summer but Rishi Sunak’s decision to call an election on July 4th has necessarily accelerated matters. In the weeks and months to come we’ll also have plenty of interesting and, with luck, knowledgable guests on the show too.
In this first episode we survey the campaign so far and look forward to the first televised “debates” (sic) next week.
